巴哈迪·科尔(Bharti Kher)是当代著名的印度艺术家,在绘画、雕塑、装置以及数码印刷等多个艺术领域都颇有建树。她生于英国,接受了系统的西方教育,成年后因为向往印度文化遂移居回这个精神上的母国,在印度创作与生活,也正因为这种经历使科尔的艺术呈现多样化的文化内涵。本文主要针对她的代表作《表皮言说不属于自己的语言》所体现的艺术特征进行分析,探讨艺术家对多种问题的反思以及想要表达的核心主题与价值,给当下中国的艺术创作以启发与借鉴。
