今年是中华人民共和国成立50周年,也是太原和山西全省解放并成立新的山西省50周年。50年来社会主义建设取得了辉煌的成就,展示出广阔灿烂的前景。当我们庆祝和纪念50年的辉煌成就即将迈向新世纪的时候,回顾一下半个世纪前山西全省解放的历史情况,对加强爱国主义教育,激励我们在新的历史时期奋发图强,开拓进取,大有裨益。
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It is also the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Shanxi Province and the establishment of a new Shanxi Province in Taiyuan and Shanxi provinces. In the past 50 years, the socialist construction has made brilliant achievements and has shown a bright future. When we celebrate and commemorate the brilliant achievements of 50 years about to move towards the new century, we should recall the history of the emancipation of Shanxi Province half a century ago, strengthen education in patriotism, inspire us to make every effort in the new historical period, Great benefit.
