世界银行宣布,1993年流入中国的外国资金达270亿美元,使它成为全球最大的国外资金流入国。其中,150亿美元是国外直接投资,50亿美元是有价证券,35亿美元来自其它私人资金,25亿美元是政府援助和贷款,大约10亿美元来自商业银行贷款。 据世界银行统计,1991年和1992年流入中国的全部国外资金分别达110亿美元和240亿美元。 世界银行在其资本流量及第三世界债务的年度报告中还说,1993年流入发展中国家的全部资金继1992年创纪录的1570亿美元之后有可能再上升13%,达1770亿美元。
The World Bank announced that foreign capital inflows into China amounted to 27 billion U.S. dollars in 1993, making it the largest foreign capital inflow country in the world. Of these, 15 billion U.S. dollars are foreign direct investments, 5 billion U.S. dollars worth of securities, 3.5 billion U.S. dollars from other private sources, 2.5 billion U.S. dollars from government aid and loans, and about 1 billion U.S. dollars from commercial bank loans. According to World Bank statistics, all foreign funds flowing into China in 1991 and 1992 respectively reached 11 billion U.S. dollars and 24 billion U.S. dollars. In its annual report on capital flows and Third World debt, the World Bank also said that all funds flowing to developing countries in 1993 are likely to rise another 13% to reach $ 177 billion after a record $ 157 billion in 1992.
