萱草在我国已有几千年载培历史,主产于秦岭以南的亚热带地区,在晋、鲁、豫、陕、黑、蒙等北方地区也有广泛分布。萱草花色鲜艳,栽培容易,且春季萌发早,绿叶成丛极为美观。园林中多丛植或于花境、路旁栽植。萱草类现品种已达万种以上,成为重要的观赏及切花花卉,其中东方不败萱草即是一个重要品种。本文从东方不败萱草的植物特性和在北方地区园林绿化的作用进行分析。
