Since its first excavation in 1959, Erlitou Site has made a number of major discoveries that have attracted the world’s attention. They have jointly demonstrated the important connotation of the Erdeng Culture, which differs from the general settlements in Erlitou Site. Among them, the remains of animals and plants unearthed are closely related to the then life one of the ecological relics.
