Cerebral angiography is an important means of diagnosing intracranial aneurysms. In recent years, with the invention of safe contrast agents and technical improvements, the incidence of cerebrovascular complications has decreased year by year, but it is still a problem worth noting. In particular, patients with cerebrovascular disease, prone to complications of cerebrovascular angiography should also be taken seriously. The author from June 1961 to September 1975 period, encountered a total of 1080 cases of cystic aneurysms. In which 939 cases of 2772 cases of carotid artery angiography as the study group, another 106 cases of non-aneurysms 213 carotid artery angiography as a control group and found that the incidence of complications between the two groups were significantly different. The incidence of complications in the aneurysm group was 3.2% (30/939), while no complication occurred in 1 patient in the control group. In the intracranial aneurysm group, 30 patients (32 patients) had complications
