The results of the epidemiological survey showed that the incidence of lung cancer and nasal cancer among nickel-refining workers tended to increase. According to [Pederson 1953-1971 survey of 1916 people in Norway nickel refining plant, confirmed the incidence of respiratory cancer does rise. Comparing the numbers of patients with respiratory cancer in this group of workers to all those killed and the Norwegian Cancer Statistics Center, it was found that the incidence of lung cancer was found to be expected to be 7: 1 among workers in the burn-making, smelting and electrolysis plants, The cancer is 40: 1. The author believes that the increased incidence of cancer is due to the pollution of nickel in plant air. Before the formation of nasal cancer, epithelial pre-cancerous changes occur, which may be implemented before the cancer screening. The data for this article is based on a nasal census conducted in Norwegian nickel refineries and two control groups and biopsies from the mucosa of the nasal septum to analyze the results of the mucosal histological examination.
