对山茶属植物五个物种光合作用的研究结果表明,物种间光合速率差异明显,4月份,最高和最低的相差达16倍;7月份,各物种光合速率普遍升高,物种间差距缩小,最高和最低相差2.5倍。各物种光合日变化曲线总的趋势一致,并具有明显的光合作用“午睡现象”。光合年变化可分为三种类型。当叶片成熟后,叶绿素含量与光合速率无明显相关。当光合作用基本停止后,气孔并不完全关闭。
