I. INTRODUCTION It is Wencha Khan anomaly located in the southwestern margin of the Qaidam Basin, about 20 km west of Wumei benevolent commune (Figure 1). This magnetic anomaly was discovered by Qinghai Petroleum Administration during the census of petroleum and natural gas in the 1950s.
