随着终身教育理念的确立和学习型社会的构建,社会教育越来越发挥着不可替代的重要作用。天津社会教育萌芽于清末,民国时期获得了长足发展,为提升天津地区民众的文化素养做出重大贡献。论文将近代天津社会教育的发展分为萌芽期、确立期、发展期、繁荣期和维持期五个阶段,对每个时期社会教育发展的特点进行概括,并总结出近代天津社会教育发展的经验,以期为当今天津社会教育的发展提供一定的借鉴。
With the establishment of the concept of lifelong education and the construction of a learning society, social education plays an irreplaceable and important role. The social education in Tianjin sprouted in the late Qing Dynasty and achieved great development during the Republic of China, making a significant contribution to enhancing the cultural accomplishment of the people in Tianjin. The dissertation divides the development of social education in modern Tianjin into five stages: the budding period, the establishment period, the development period, the prosperous period and the maintenance period, summarizes the characteristics of the social education in each period, and sums up the experience of the social education in modern times in Tianjin , With a view to provide some reference for the development of today’s social education in Tianjin.
