安徽省马鞍山市滨江新区为招商引资编辑出版了《投资手册》。里面有一页是介绍滨江历史文化的。其中介绍林散之的文字中这样写道:“林散之先生祖籍安徽省和县乌江镇,一生酷爱山林,早年受益于书画大师黄宾虹……”史料是这样记载林散之的:“民国十八年(1929年),经张栗庵介绍,辞去教书工作,赴上海从黄宾虹学画山水,至三十四岁,因家中经济困难,还乡,仍教书。”
