欧阳修(1007-1072)经学研究代表作《诗本义》的学术渊源是值得细致钻研的内容。在学术思想观念上,《诗本义》关于《六经》本质与关系的认识,特别是“诗本末”的观念,与先秦汉唐学术发展有内在联系,“诗本末”观念也受到王肃、王通经学研究的启迪和影响。与欧阳修相前后,解《诗》者甚众,这些学者相互影响借鉴,足以说明《诗本义》所反映的《诗经》学研究新风气与新理念确是《诗经》学发展的必然趋势。
