灵芪安神口服液能明显拮抗环磷酰胺对小鼠红细胞免疫及淋巴细胞免疫功能的抑制，使环磷酰胺小鼠红细胞免疫粘附促进因子及红细胞Ｃ３ｂ受体花环率（ＲＢＣ－Ｃ３ｂＲＲ）提高，而使红细胞免疫粘附抑制因子及红细胞免疫复合物花环率（ＲＢＣ－ＩＣＲ）降低；同时还能明显拮抗环磷酰胺对小鼠脾脏重量、脾脏指数及外周血白细胞数的抑制作用；并能明显提高环磷酰胺抑制小鼠脾脏空斑形成细胞的数目及血清溶菌酶含量。
