Expansion of the site The Nelson-Atkins Art Museum, built in 1933, reflects the traditional role of art galleries in society and focuses on the collection and preservation of precious artifacts. Symmetrical front design, the way the queue, the main hall of the uplift, pervious stone perimeter, axial flow lines and layered tissue rooms make the exchange of tourists and works of art full of memorial value. Project costs provide designers with the opportunity to completely revamp their art galleries to make their connections with the city more open and consciously integrate into the arts. As part of the competition, designers realized that a vast sculptural garden open to the public around the clock could be the catalyst for the new art gallery building, in contrast to the original
