同志们: 这次召开的自治区开发性造林现场会是一次很重要的会议,自治区党委、人民政府的领导同志对这个会议很关注、很重视。要求把会议开成一个推动我区开发性造林事业大发展的现场研讨会和动员促进会。 下面我就开发性造林的有关问题讲几点意见,供同志们参考。 我区地处干旱荒漠区,森林、植被很少,林业基础极其薄弱。据林业部近期调查,全疆现有有林地面积2273.7万亩,灌木林地面积524.2万亩,疏林地面积880.8万亩,四旁树面积41.7万亩。全疆森林覆盖率只有1.14％,如果不包括灌木林,覆盖率只有0.93％。全区活立木总蓄积量为2.21亿立方米,是我国森林资源最贫乏的省区之一。
Comrades: The development of the afforestation scene in the autonomous region to be held this time is a very important meeting. The leading comrades of the party committees and people’s governments in the autonomous region are very concerned about this meeting and attach great importance to it. The meeting demanded that the conference should be opened as a live seminar and mobilization promotion meeting to promote the great development of the afforestation project in our district. Here I talk about the development of afforestation a few comments on the issues for Comrades reference. My area is located in arid desert areas, forests, vegetation is very small, the forest foundation is extremely weak. According to a recent survey conducted by the Ministry of Forestry, Xinjiang has an area of 22.737 million mu of forest land, 5.242 million mu of shrubbery land, 8.880 million mu of sparse woodland and 417,000 mu of trees on four sides. Xinjiang’s forest coverage was only 1.14%, excluding shrubs, coverage was only 0.93%. The total volume of living wood in the region is 221 million cubic meters, making it one of the poorest provinces in China.
