现代教育理论认为,赏识教育并不排除惩戒,两者运用得当,效果可能事半功倍。当然,惩戒绝不是体罚或变项体罚,惩戒是指对学生错误的思想行为给予否定性的评价。比如以否定的语气、表情相向,比如不理睬、批评、谴责、采取强制措施、给予处分等。教育家马卡连柯说:
