Annabel Lee,written by Edgar Allan Poe,is a renowned recitative set piece and is also regarded as the representative work of his esthetic style.Using a melodious narrative form,Poe laments the death of his beloved young bride Annabel Lee.This essay is intended to investigate the stylistic features of his poem Annabel Lee from phonological,lexical,syntactic and textual level.
