Information Center of State Sports General Administration of Statistics data show that the International Olympic Committee first proposed drug list was banned in 1967. In early 1968, the IOC Medical Committee, chaired by Alexander DeMarrode, formally announced the list of prohibited drugs for doping control at the Grenoble Olympics in France before the opening of the 10th Olympic Winter Games . It seems like a twin brother, the doping scandal is always the lingering pain of the Olympic Games. In order to ensure the fair competition and the comparability of athletes’ performance, the Beijing Olympic Games will intensify the testing and the number of doping tests will be the highest in history.
