Objective To investigate the role of orthopedic protection stent in rehabilitation nursing of patients with tibiofibular fractures. Methods Sixty patients with tibiofibular fractures were selected, including 32 males and 28 females. The patients were 19-70 years old with an average age of 41.57 years. Using random number table divided into 3 groups, namely, the protection bracket group, the horse stand group, soft pillow group, 20 cases each. 10 cases of male and 10 female cases of brachytherapy stent group; 12 males and 8 females in the brackets group; 10 males and 10 females in the soft pillow group. A new generation orthopedic protection bracket, Thomas frame and a soft pillow were used to elevate the affected limb during postoperative rehabilitation nursing. The limb swelling, pain and joint function, stability, comfort, local pressure Sore occurrence. Results The extent of swelling of the affected limbs: I degree swelling (50.00%), grade II swelling (30.00%) in the protective stent group was significantly higher than that in the soft pillow group (10.00%), degree II swelling (20.00%), and the third degree swelling (20.00%) in the protection group was significantly lower than that in the soft pillow group (70.00%). The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Pain and joint function: At 2 weeks after operation, the visual analog scale (VAS) score of the scaffold group was significantly lower than that of the brackets group and the soft pillow group, and the joint mobility was significantly higher than that of the brackets, soft pillow group, The rate of excellent function (98.46%) was significantly higher than that of the soft pillow group (84.62%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Stability, comfort, partial pressure ulcers: The height and angle of the stent group were suitable, and the patients’ comfort was significantly higher than that of the dentition and soft pillow groups. The partial pressure ulcers were significantly lower than that of the dentition and soft pillow groups Significantly higher than the soft pillow group (P <0.05). Conclusion The orthopedic protection stent can fully meet the requirements of height and angle of limb elevation after tibiofibular fractures, has good stability, can effectively relieve swelling and pain, improve comfort and promote postoperative functional recovery.
