1990 was a bumper year for Copeland’s music, and his music recordings continued to emerge, following the release of his album by Virgin Publishing, followed by a breath at the Adelson Music Festival with his three The Ministry’s not-so-familiar work: “Listen! Listen” (1934) and “The Second Hurricane” (1936) and “Gentle Township” (1952-4) in Europe this time. How did all of this changed our previous understanding of Copeland with Volume II of a biography co-authored by Vivianne Pallis and the composer? These understandings were expressed in my best wishes for his 75th birthday, Benjamin Gnochen Copeland notes and I in the “musical heritage” in a book about Ives and Popular Science
