1997年卫生监督工作要以贯彻中共中央十四届五中全会、六中全会及全国卫生工作会议精神为核心,以落实《中共中央、国务院关于卫生改革与发展的决定》(以下简称《决定》)中的有关工作内容为中心任务,坚持卫生监督工作为人民健康服务,为社会主义现代化建设服务的方向,积极稳妥地推动卫生监督体制改革,加速完善公共卫生立法,以贯彻《食品卫生法》为重点,全面贯彻实施公共卫生法律、法规,提高卫生监督执法力度,开展预防保健服务,为建设有中国特色的社会主义卫生事业做出新贡献。
The health supervision work in 1997 should focus on implementing the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Sixth Plenary Session and the National Health Work Conference to implement the “Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Health Reform and Development” (hereinafter referred to as the “Decision”). The relevant tasks in the work are central tasks, adhere to health supervision work for the people’s health, serve the direction of socialist modernization, actively and steadily promote the reform of the health supervision system, and accelerate the improvement of public health legislation to implement the “Food Hygiene Law.” Focus on comprehensive implementation of public health laws and regulations, improve health supervision and law enforcement, carry out preventive health services, and make new contributions to building a socialist health undertaking with Chinese characteristics.
