蚱蝉在鲁北地区4年完成1代。卵期1年,若虫期3年。成虫产于寄主枝条内的卵须要落在地面,在潮湿的条件下方能孵化。对蚱蝉的防治可以采取地面撒施1.5%辛硫磷颗粒剂而浅锄的方法进行。
