2008年4月初,借“国际新闻电信理事会”(IPTC)春季会议在北京举行的机会,我们访问了《纽约时报》(New York Times,NYT)高级技术编辑沃特·巴瑞格先生、“美国报业协会”(NAA)技术副总裁约翰·埃奥博斯特先生、以及“国际新闻电信理事会”(IPTC)董事会主席斯蒂芬·格里特先生,就国际上新闻传媒技术的发展态势、传统媒体的应对策略、以及新闻技术标准的推广应用等问题,与他们进行了交流和探讨。现稍加整理,与大家分享。
In early April 2008, with the opportunity of the IPTC Spring Conference in Beijing, we visited Mr. Walter Barig, Senior Technical Editor of the New York Times (NYT) Mr. John Ebost, Vice President of Technology at the American Press Association (NAA), and Mr. Stephen Greer, Chairman of the Board of the International Telecommunications and Telecommunications Council (IPTC) Technology development trend, the traditional media response strategies, and the popularization and application of news technical standards and other issues, to communicate with them and explore.
