这是神户制钢公司为高效率加工不锈钢而开发的新产品。主要特点:①立铣刀基体材料为硬质合金,经过特殊涂层处理(该公司对外统称为miracle涂层),涂层硬度达HV2500~2800(TiN涂层为HV1800~2000),导热性为TiN涂层的4~5倍,抗氧化性也大幅度提高,升温至800℃时才开始氧化,而TiN涂层在600℃时即开始氧化。②螺旋角为50°,切削刃锋利度高,切削轻快,排屑流畅。③抗弯强度为4000N/mm~2,接近高速钢的水平,适宜用于SUS304等较软的不锈钢加工。如在V=30m/min,f=0.04mm/齿,a_p=5mm条件下切削SUS304时,刀具寿命为TiN涂层硬质合金立铣刀的3倍。
