2014年6月9日,国家卫生计生委副主任、国家中医药管理局局长王国强到中国中医药报社调研。他在与报社同志座谈时指出,当前中医药事业发展方兴未艾,中国中医药报社作为中医药行业的主流权威媒体,要进一步做大做强,坚持正确舆论导向,推进媒体转型发展,投身中医药文化产业,为中医药事业发展作出应有的贡献。今年是中国中医药报社成立25周年,恰逢报社办公楼改扩建工程完成并回迁新楼,王国强首先向报社的同志们表示祝贺。在听取报社的工作汇报后,王国强指出,自去年报社新领导班子成立以来,班子成员团结协作,带领全体职工理清思路,凝聚共识,出台了未来五年发展规划,克服各种困难,各方面工作上了新台阶。同时,坚持正确舆论导向,围绕中医药中心工作,立足行业需求,服务社会大众,中国中医药报从报道内容到版面形式
