邓小平同志提出的社会主义市场经济思想，是其共于建设有中国特色社会主义理论的重要组成部分，它独辟蹊径为社会主义建设指出一个新的思路，即把计划经济和市场经济结合起来，充分利用市场经济的激励机制，解放生产力，加速经济发展。邓小平市场经济思想是马克思主义基本原理同中国社会主义建设的具体实践相结合的产物。它的提出过程有两个突出的特点，即：尊重实践和尊重群众的首创精神。
The thought of socialist market economy put forward by Comrade Deng Xiaoping is an important part of its theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. It has taken the liberty to point out a new idea for socialist construction by combining the planned economy with the market economy and making full use of it Incentives for Market Economy, Liberating Productivity and Accelerating Economic Development. Deng Xiaoping’s market economy thought is the product of the combination of the basic tenets of Marxism with the concrete practice of building China’s socialist construction. Its proposing process has two salient features, namely, the pioneering spirit of respecting practice and respect for the masses.
