语言文化具有民族性。使用语言的能力,决定着交际能力及交际效果。因地理环境、社会历史等多方面因素的共同作用,中西方语言文化差异甚大,从而制约了不同民族之间人们的交际与交流。克服交际障碍应更多地从英语国家与我国文化中的历史地理、政治体制、风土人情、传统习俗、生活方式、文学艺术、行为规范、交际规则及价值观念等诸多细节的差异来考虑。
Language and culture are national. The ability to use the language, determines the communication skills and communication effectiveness. Because of the combination of many factors such as geographical environment, social history and other factors, great differences exist between Chinese and Western languages and cultures, thus restricting people’s communication and exchange between different ethnic groups. To overcome the barriers to communication, we should consider more from the differences between the English-speaking countries and the historical geography, political system, customs, traditions and customs, lifestyles, literary arts, codes of conduct, communicative rules and values in English-speaking countries.
