1999上海财富论坛,与其说留给中国媒介业人士以诸多的思考,倒不如说它为中国媒介业树立了一个目标,那就是要形成跨产业、跨地区、跨部门、跨媒体乃至跨所有制的中国自己的跨国媒体,只有这样,中国的媒介业在加入WTO之后才可以形成规模,进而融入全球化的巨大的市场环境中而立于不败之地。但是毋庸置疑,中国的媒介产业要想走向世界,达到可以与世界媒介集团同步竞争的规模,还要有相当长的路要走。首先,国内的媒体要进一步加强媒介新闻资源的采编能力,其次,更要加强媒介新闻资源的整合能力,再次还要加强媒介新闻资源的经营能力(也即媒介经营的产业化能力)。在
