广东省城市建设技师学院创办于1980年,直属于广东省人力资源和社会保障厅。办学以来,学院始终坚持改革创新,科学发展,是“国家中等职业教育改革发展示范学校建设计划”项目学校、全国首批世界银行贷款职业教育发展项目学校、广东省高技能人才实训基地、广东省室内装饰设计专业职业研发基地、广东省农村劳动力技能培训转移就业定点培训机构。
