瑞士银行有限公司和野村证券株式会社两家的合格境外机构投资者(英文Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors,缩写为 QFII)资格于今年5月获中国证监会批准,这标志着中国证券市场上首批合格境外机构投资者已经诞生。QFII 制度,可以简单解释为一国资本市场有限制的对外开放。换句通俗的话说,就是“外国投资者也可以到中国来炒股了”。不过,按照规定,这些合格境外机构投资者必须经过核准,并在一定规定和限制下通过严格监管的专门账户才能投资到中国证券市场。
Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (“QFII”), two SwissBank companies and Nomura Securities Co., Ltd., were eligible for approval by the CSRC in May this year, marking the first batch of qualified foreign investors in China’s securities market Institutional investors have been born. QFII system, can be simply explained as a country’s capital market has a limited opening up. In other words, “foreign investors can go to China to buy stocks.” However, according to the regulations, these qualified foreign institutional investors must be approved and can only invest in China’s securities market through strictly regulated special accounts under certain rules and restrictions.
