In recent years, people are interested in endogenous opioids (such as enkephalin, β-endorphin, etc.), not only in the central nervous system, but also distributed in the gastrointestinal pancreas. Recently, it has been found in humans and dogs that these endogenous opioids are involved in the regulation of pancreatic endocrine function after eating. Since gastrointestinal hormones (such as CCK) can be released by stimulation of nutrients in the gastrointestinal tract after meals and are involved in the regulation of pancreatic endocrine function, there may be some interaction between CCK and endogenous opioids .
