低出生体重(LBW)儿脑室内出血和脑室周围白质软化与神经疾病关系密切。超声影像对脑室内出血及脑室周围白质软化有较高的特异性和敏感性。将1990年1月~1995年6月出生体重在500~1750g的745例新生儿分为胎膜早破组(PROM,279例),胎膜完整的早产组(PTC,285例)和因母亲或胎儿因素而终断妊娠的医源性早产组(MD-IND,181例)。生后3天和7天进行标准的矢状和冠状扫描。异常扫描包括各级脑室内出血、脑室内出血伴脑室周围白质软化和脑室周围白质软化。主要损伤包括3、4级脑室内出血、脑室内出血伴脑室周围白质
