2004年4月10日，由《中国远程教育》杂志社和北京大学医学网络教育学院共同主办的第二次“中国远程教育学术圆桌”在北京大学医学部会议中心举行，研讨主题是：“远程教育ISO9000认证的启示———理论与实践的对话”。在研讨会上，与会代表以北京大学医学网络教育学院的实践探索为实例，探讨了导入ISO9000质量管理体系对加强远程教育管理、保证远程教育质量的启示。出席学术研讨会的专家有首都师范大学特聘教授丁兴富博士，原北京大学副校长、现首都医科大学党委书记吕兆丰教授，教育部远程与继续教育处刘英处长，中央广播电视大学副校长、教授孙绿怡博士，香港公开大学研究员张伟远博士，北京师范大学信息科学学院副院长陈丽博士，国家ISO9000高级咨询师张元琦先生。出席研讨会的还有北京大学继续教育部副部长侯建军，首都医科大学副校长王晓民，北京交通大学远程与继续教育学院院长陈庚，北京中医大学网络教育学院院长于永杰等。北京大学医学网络教育学院副院长高澍萍、院长助理刘义光介绍了导入ISO9000质量管理体系的情况，与会专家进行了交流和研讨。北京大学医学部副主任刘玉村、《中国远程教育》杂志社社长尹伟中在研讨会上致辞，刘义光、丁兴富主持了本次研讨会。
On April 10, 2004, the second “China Distance Education Academic Roundtable” co-sponsored by China Distance Education magazine and Peking University Medical Network Education College was held at the Peking University Medical Center Conference Center. The theme of the seminar was: "Distance Education Inspiration of ISO9000 Certification --- Dialogue between Theory and Practice. At the seminar, delegates took the practical exploration of Peking University Medical Network Education College as an example to discuss the enlightenment of introducing ISO9000 quality management system to strengthen the management of distance education and ensure the quality of distance education. Experts attending the symposium are: Dr. Ding Xingfu, Distinguished Professor of Capital Normal University, former Vice-Chancellor of Peking University, Professor Lv Zhaofeng, Party Secretary of Capital Medical University, Director Liu Ying, Director of Distance and Continuing Education, Ministry of Education, Vice President and Professor of the Central Radio and Television University Dr Sun Yiyi, Dr. Zhang Weiyuan, Researcher, Open University of Hong Kong, Dr. Chen Li, Vice Dean, School of Information Science, Beijing Normal University, and Mr. Zhang Yuanqi, Senior Consultant of National ISO9000. Also present at the seminar were Hou Jianjun, Vice Minister of Continuing Education of Peking University, Wang Xiaomin, Vice President of Capital Medical University, Chen Geng, Dean of School of Distance and Continuing Education of Beijing Jiaotong University, and Yu Yongjie, Dean of Network Education College of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Peking University Medical Network Education Institute vice president Gao Shu-ping, assistant president Liu Yiguang introduced the introduction of ISO9000 quality management system, the participating experts conducted exchanges and discussions. Liu Yucun, deputy director of Peking University Medical Department, Yin Weizhong, president of China Distance Education magazine, gave a speech at the seminar. Liu Yiguang and Ding Xingfu presided over this seminar.
