大爷海不是海,而是一个湖,一个位于高山之巅的美丽湖泊。 大爷海在太白山国家级自然保护区内,面积约5000平方米,湖面海拔高为3590米,略呈椭圆形。它的东南面是著名的拔仙台,当年姜子牙封神之处;东、西、南三面崖壁环绕,大爷海恰似一颗镶嵌在石山之中的蓝宝石,璀璨夺目,所以被誉为“太白明珠”。在海拔3000米以上的石山之巅,突现这一美丽迷人的湖泊,不能不说是一个奇迹。
