ST-15 LE AR手枪实际上是采用短枪管,并去除枪托的AR系短步枪,其属美国法律上定义的手枪。该枪是Spike武器公司推出的一款轻便型个人自卫武器,发射5.56×45mm NATO弹。该枪完全按照军用标准设计和生产,上下机匣均采用7075-T6航空级铝合金材料制成,机匣顶部及护手上方设有一体式皮卡汀尼导轨,导轨上装有麦格普公司MBUS折叠式机械瞄具。护手采用传统的四边形设计,四周均设有导轨,左右两侧还设有枪背带快速安装孔。该枪采用M16步枪枪机,枪管长206mm,采用冷锻工艺制成,枪管膛线导程178mm,枪口装有标准的A2型消焰器。
The ST-15 LE AR handgun is actually a short-barrel, gun-removed AR-based short rifle that is a legally defined pistol in the United States.
