纸张表面经过涂布加工后可以获得很高的纸张光泽度及印刷光泽度。通过调整颜料的配比、颜料粒径、胶黏剂的用量、涂料的涂布量及干燥温度,分析不同条件下纸张光泽度及印刷光泽度的变化趋势。试验结果表明,纸张光泽度与印刷光泽度随瓷土用量的增加而增大,随GCC用量的增加而减小;随着胶黏剂用量的增加,纸张光泽度减小而印刷光泽度明显增大;纸张光泽度及印刷光泽度随着涂布量的增加而增加。最后对数据分析得出瓷土与GCC(粒径<2μm占90%)的配比为1∶1,胶黏剂用量为12%,涂布量在16g/m2时可以获得最佳的纸张光泽度及印刷光泽度。
