1、掌握英语名词的可数与不可数很重要。因为这关系到名词做主语时谓语动词的变化,同时也关系到对名词限定词的选择。其分类办法如下:名词可数名词个体名词:person,student,computer;集合名词:class,family,flock;不可数名词物质名词:milk,cotton,iron;抽象名词:knowledge,information,pcace;有时具体判断一个名词的可数与不可数是很困难的。这就要加强我们对抽象名词理论上的理解,有时还可用如下一个小窍门儿:往名词前加 one 或 a,看是否说得通。如 one book,说得通则为可数名词;而 one money 则说不通,为不可数。当然最可靠的办法是查字典了。
