我们怀着十分沉痛的心情,深切悼念中国共产党优秀党员、物理学家、著名的真空科学家。中国科学院学部委员、政协甘肃省委员会常务委员、中国民主促进会中央参议委员会委员、中国民主促进会甘肃省委员会名誉主委、中国空间技术研究院兰州物理研究所创建人、名誉所长、研究员金建中同志。金建中同志因病医治无效,于1989年10月12日7时30分在兰州逝世,终年七十岁。他的逝世,使我们失去了一位德高望重、卓有成就的老科学家,是中国科学,教育事业的一大损失。
With deep feelings of deep sorrow, we deeply mourn the outstanding Party members and physicists of the Chinese Communist Party and the famous vacuum scientists. Chinese Academy of Sciences, member of the Standing Committee of Gansu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Association for the Promotion of Democracy, honorary chairman of Gansu Provincial Committee of China Association for the Promotion of Democracy, founder of Lanzhou Institute of Physics of China Academy of Space Technology, honorary director and researcher Jin Jianzhong Comrade. Comrade Jin Jianzhong was invalid because of illness and died in Lanzhou at 0730 on 12 October 1989 at the age of seventy. His death caused us to lose a respected and accomplished old scientist, a great loss to China’s science and education.
