在全民阅读的大环境下,阅读已成为大众不可或缺的一部分,然后获取文献资料的途径缺非常有限。民办高校作为新兴的力量,大部分民办高校都建立了新馆,而且新建图书馆的规模宏大、设备先进、资源丰富,空间宽敞明亮。而且大部分成为城市某一区域的标志性建筑,民办高校图书馆为社会提供服务将弥补该地区文献资源阵地的空缺,为提高该区大众的文化素养提供重要保障。在为社会大众提供服务的同时也提高了该学校的知名度,起到了免费宣传的作用。
In the context of universal reading, reading has become an indispensable part of the general public, and then access to literature is scarce.
