1977年,陈立夫在台湾《传记文学》杂志中,公开发表了周恩来的“九月来信”,并注明是民国二十四年九月收到,立即引起质疑,焦点是认为年份有误。经过三年多的争论,赞成陈的观点在台岛占据了上风。我们结合民国史与中共党史的研究成果,用考订的方法甄别,可以确认周恩来的“九月来信”,其实写于1936年(民国二十五年)9月,台岛舆论维护陈立夫的说法,本质上是为维护国民党当局对西安事变与对张学良所谓“通共”罪的定性。
In 1977, when Chen Lifu published Zhou Enlai’s “September letter” in Taiwan’s “Biographical Literature” magazine and stated that it was received in September of the Twenty-fourth Year of the Republic of China, he immediately raised questions, with the focus on believing the year was wrong. After more than three years of debate, the pro-Chen point of view prevailed in Taiwan. In combining the research results of the history of the Republic of China and the history of the CPC, we scrutinize it with the method of examination. We can confirm that Zhou Enlai’s “Letter from September” was actually written in September 1936 (Twenty-Five Years of the Republic of China). In September Taiwan’s media maintained Chen Lifu’s The argument is essentially to safeguard the characterization of Kuomintang authorities over the Xian Incident and the so-called “common denunciation” of Zhang Xueliang.
