本文研究了(Bi Pr Gd Yb)_3(Fe A1)_5O_(12)和(Y Lu Bi)_3(Fe Ga)_5O_(12)含铋柘榴石外延膜的氧化与还原处理对光吸收的影响。其结果是:通过K_2Cr_2O_7水溶液的氧化处理能使样品0.8μm处的光吸收系数α降低;通过N_2H_4·H_2SO_4水溶液和N_2H_4·H_2O水溶液的还原处理使α增大。我们认为:考虑经过氧化与还原处理使Fe~(2+)和Fe~(4+)的浓度改变以及使膜内的氧空穴被填充或产生可以解释这些结果。因为在氧化处理之后,法拉弟旅转系数θ_F保持不变,所以,由于吸收系数α的减少磁光优值θ_F/α有相当大的增强。
In this paper, the effects of oxidation and reduction on the light absorption of (Bi Pr Gd Yb) _3 (Fe Al) _5O_ (12) and (Y Lu Bi) _3 (Fe Ga) _5O_ (12) bismuth containing garnet epitaxial films were studied. As a result, the light absorption coefficient α at 0.8 μm can be reduced by the oxidation treatment of K 2 Cr 2 O 7 aqueous solution, and α is increased by the reduction treatment of N 2 H 4 · H 2 SO 4 aqueous solution and N 2 H 4 · H 2 O aqueous solution. In our opinion, these results can be explained by considering that the concentrations of Fe 2+ and Fe 4+ can be changed by oxidation and reduction treatment and the oxygen vacancies in the film are filled or generated. Since the Faraday’s Traveling Coefficient θ_F remains unchanged after the oxidation treatment, there is a considerable enhancement of the magneto-optical merit value θ_F / α due to the decrease of the absorption coefficient α.
