嘉峪关地区属于甘肃河西走廊西部,年降水量不及100毫米,大气干旱,农田全靠祁连山雪水灌溉。小麦是我市的主要粮食作物。小麦全蚀病是近几年发现的一种危险性的小麦根病,它扩展迅速,危害严重。为了我市粮食持续增产,我们从1973年起开始调查,并与甘肃省农科院植保所在我市文殊公社联合建立基点,进行发病规律调查和防治试验,初步积累些危害、发病规律和防治办法。造成小麦枯死的病原,主要是小麦全蚀病(Ophiobolus graminis),在嘉峪关另外还有根腐菌(Helminthosporium spp.)与镰刀菌(Fusarium spp.)等。受全蚀病为害的小麦苗期长势不旺,地上部明显矮小,基部叶片渐 Jiayuguan region belongs to the west of Gansu Hexi Corridor, less than 100 mm of annual precipitation, atmospheric drought, farmland thanks to the snow Qilian irrigation.
