任建新同志1925年8月出生于山西襄汾县,曾就读于山西临汾师范学校,北京汇文中学,北京大学。在北大读书期间,他在地下党的领导下,参加了反对国民党专制统治,反对国民党打内战的学生运动,被国民党反动当局通缉。随后于1948年8月,在党组织的安排下,到了解放区河北平山,被分配到刚刚成立的华北人民政府工作。从此开始了他的职业革命生涯。
Ren Jianxin Comrade Born in August 1925 in Xiangfen County, Shanxi Province, he studied at Linfen Teachers College, Beijing Huiwen Middle School and Peking University.
