随着中外文化交流的不断加强,大量的海外影视作品深受中国观众的喜爱。电影片名是影片的识别标志,对影片的成功起着重要作用,有着艺术价值和重要的商业价值。它不仅可以传达相关的主题信息,表达影片的感情基调,透露相关剧情,还可以吸引观众,增加电影票房。好的影片译名,能让观众深受吸引,津津乐道,并过目不忘。一个好的译名离不开一名译者对原片名的语法特点的深入了解。因此本文以英国电影与电视艺术学院奖中获奖电影为研究对象,就英语影片名基本特征,语法特点展开一般分析,对影片名的翻译有一定的指导意义。
With the continuous enhancement of cultural exchange between China and foreign countries, a large number of overseas films and television works are deeply loved by Chinese audiences. Film title is the identification of the film, the success of the film plays an important role, with the artistic value and important commercial value. It can not only convey the relevant subject information, expressing the emotional tone of the film, revealing the story, but also to attract viewers and increase the movie box office. Good translation of the film, let the audience attracted, relish, and never forget. A good translation is inseparable from a translator’s in-depth understanding of the grammatical features of the original title. Therefore, in this paper, the winner of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award movie for the study of the basic features of English video titles, grammatical features of a general analysis of the translation of the movie name has some guiding significance.
