《落花生》是我国著名作家许地山的经典散文作品,短小精悍,意蕴深刻。这篇散文的译作中比较有名的就是张培基的和刘士聪的译文。本文正是从翻译目的论的角度对散文《落花生》的两个英译本进行评析,说明目的论在散文翻译中的指导作用。由于翻译目的是一切翻译行为所应遵循的先行原则,译者所遵循的原则不同,译文也会有不同的翻译效果。
“Peanuts” is a famous prose writer Xu Dashan classic prose works, short and pithy, profound meaning. The famous translations of this essay are the translations of Zhang Peiji and Liu Shicong. This essay analyzes two English versions of the essay “Dropless Peanut” from the perspective of translational teleology, and illustrates the guiding role of Skoposthemes in prose translation. Since the purpose of translation is the principle of precedence that all translations should follow, the translators follow different principles and the translations will have different translation effects.
