2012年6月26日,位于玛丽安港口开发区中部的“蒙彼利埃RBC设计中心”隆重开业。作为在法国的第五家RBC设计中心,由建筑设计师Jean Nouvel进行设计,RBC创始人Franck Argentin发起的“蒙彼利埃RBC设计中心”是一家专门致力于展示设计成果或产品的专业机构。对于这栋建筑的独特外观,设计师其实早在30多年前就有所设想,其完整效果将于2020年年初呈现在世人面前。这栋由Jean Nouvel设计的大楼给人的第一印象如同一个简易的盒子,外观以中性灰色调为主,同时因其表面的白色字体的文字,诸如创意、梦想、书籍、美食、照明、生活等而又变得异常醒目。当你进入大楼内部时,视野清晰透明,与不透明的外墙形成鲜明对比。大楼独特的灰色调与这座具有强烈博物馆气息的建筑如同家具的组装一样完美融合。
On June 26, 2012, the Montpellier RBC Design Center in the middle of the Marian Port Development Zone was opened. As the fifth RBC Design Center in France, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, “Montpellier RBC Design Center” by RBC founder Franck Argentin is a professional dedicated to showcasing design results or products mechanism. The unique gray tone of the building blends perfectly with this strong, museum-like building as the furniture is assembled.
