2008年,是全球瞩目的北京奥运年,不仅体育活动火热滚滚,远在彼岸的台湾文艺青年也不缺席。为推动两岸青年当代戏剧创作与交流,为当代青年人的创作提供一个开放的平台,由中国国家话剧院、北京戏剧家协会、北京东方先锋小剧场和9个剧场共同邀演与策划此次“2008北京国家当代戏剧演出季”。其中“两岸当代青年戏剧演出季”这个单元坚持着自由、开放的创作原则,鼓励多种风格的戏剧创作。4月中旬至5月中旬,来自岛内的四家中、新生代小剧场团体的原创作品,在奥运前夕登上北京舞台大放异彩,展现出岛内小剧场旺盛企图心与生命力。
In 2008, it was the year of the Beijing Olympic Games that attracted worldwide attention. Not only did the sports activities get hot and hot, but the Taiwan-based arts youth far from the other side were not absent. In order to promote the creation and exchange of contemporary dramas by young people across the Taiwan Strait, and to provide an open platform for the creation of contemporary youth, the China National Theater, Beijing Dramatists Association, Beijing Oriental Pioneer Theater and 9 theaters jointly invited and planned this “2008 Beijing National Contemporary Drama Festival ”. Among them, “Performance Stories of Contemporary Youth Theater across the Taiwan Strait” sticks to the principle of free and open writing and encourages the creation of drama in various styles. From mid-April to mid-May, the original works of four medium-sized and small-generation young theater groups from the island shone on the stage of Beijing on the eve of the Olympic Games, showing the strong ambition and vitality of the small theater on the island.
