Conventional Holter monitoring uses modified V_1 and V_5 leads. Preliminary studies have shown that among the other seven pairs of bipolar leads compared to the two pairs of leads, the P wave recorded by the vertical sternum leads (the anterior pole is placed below the suprasternal notch and the anterior pole is placed in front of the xiphoid process) maximum.
