在链脲佐菌素(STZ)所致的实验性糖尿病大鼠体内,其心肌和红细胞的过氧化脂质(LPO)含量均较正常对照组为高,而超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)的活性则较正常对照组为低。中药人参不仅可以降低糖尿病大鼠的空腹血糖,而且可以降低其心肌和红细胞的LPO含量,提高SOD的活性,从而减轻自由基对大鼠心肌和红细胞所造成的过氧化损伤。本文还就人参抗实验性糖尿病大鼠心肌和红细胞脂质过氧化损伤的可能机制,进行了探讨。
In experimental diabetic rats induced by streptozotocin (STZ), the lipid peroxidation (LPO) content of myocardium and erythrocytes was higher than that of the normal control group, and that of superoxide dismutase (SOD). The activity was lower than that of the normal control group. Traditional Chinese medicine ginseng can not only reduce the fasting blood glucose in diabetic rats, but also can reduce the LPO content of myocardium and red blood cells and increase the activity of SOD, thus reducing the free radicals’ damage to rat heart and red blood cells. This article also discussed the possible mechanism of ginseng anti-diabetic lipid peroxidation injury of experimental diabetic rats.
