“The social existence of people determines people’s consciousness,” which is a basic principle of Marxism. For the broad masses of people, income distribution is the economic basis for its survival. This economic basis, that is, the existence of society, can have a great impact on its ideology and mental state. Therefore, when we grasp the construction of spiritual civilization, we must also study the relationship between it and the distribution of income so as to find out the regularity.
